Shefa lights up my world. That is the message I received from one 5th grade Shefa School student in his heartfelt Hanukah card. Parents are also writing letters of appreciation for the work of our school: Thanks for breathing life back into my child. Putting all her academic success to the side (which has been immeasurable) the child that greeted us at the door upon our arrival was the child I had but was missing for the last few years - shining, glowing, happy and confident. I still get tears in my eyes everyday when I see [my son] running out of carpool and into the house with a big smile on his face. I thank G-d for bringing Shefa to us at the exact time that we needed you so much.
