Fresh snowfall was experienced in upper reaches, including the world famous ski resort of sonamarg while the sky was cloudy in the plains, resulting in further chilly conditions.. A hotel owner from Gagangeer Sonamarg where skiers and other adventure loves are out on slopes said that Tourists, who were throwing snow balls on each other, were also enjoying the fresh snowfall.... Reports of fresh snowfall were also received from adjoining areas of sonamarg. Gund, Kullan, Rezan, Gangangeer, Meenmarg, Zojila and the highway connecting the Ladakh region with the rest of the state, closed since December last year, also received moderate to heavy snowfall since Monday Morning... Officials said that the fresh snowfall may delay the opening of Sonamarg road....
