Shelby has had a much better day!! Shes been awake!!! Not 100% herself but shes awake!!! Shes not been awake this long since last Friday morning!!! Im so happy to see her beautiful blue eyes!! She is starting to retain fluids again.. Im thinking its from the blood transfusion yesterday. So I think she will be getting a dose or two of lasix to help with that! Shes tolerated her feedings today at 3/4 formula 1/4 pedialyte. And one swab came back a little while ago and she has a bacteria growing in her throat!! I will know more once the 48 hour culture comes back!! So thats why Shelby is having such a difficult time breathing! Im sure with the infection its restricting her tiny airway!! Im so relieved to be getting answers!!! Thank you God for watching of Shelby!!!
