Shelly Carter Jason Smith, Im almost done with the first book. I have some issues with it, but I like it. While the story is standard fare I do enjoy the depth and slow burn style of Rothfuss. Im torn with the dialogue, I know Kvothe is a well educated bright young man but his hyper detailed uber high speech sometimes makes me crazy. The Denna situation makes me crazy and it seems a bit out of place with the rest of the story, I think?
