Shelter From The Wind Behold the wind is blowing says the Lord, and it is picking up and removing everything that is moveable. And only those things that are firmly fixed in place will survive the power of the wind. You have seen the wind blow and you have feared it. You have thought that this was My hand to bring pressure upon you. But I am not the author of destruction, and I will not take from you anything that you do not yield willingly to me. I will at times lead you into the wind, but I am not the author of the wind. Know therefore that the enemy is seeking to find anything in you that is not firmly grounded in Me. And only those things that are firmly grounded in Me and in My word will be able to withstand the storm that he will bring against you. But you have nothing to fear, for in Me you are founded on a rock. In Me you are hidden and cannot be shaken. And though the wind may howl and blow hard, your house will stand firm, for it is founded on the rock. When you look around you and see the devastation in the lives of others, do not be afraid. For as you remain in Me you are hidden in the palm of My hand. I will hold you tight and you will not be moved says the Lord. And when you see those things in your life that are not grounded in Me, blowing in the wind and being scattered everywhere, then rejoice. For these things should be removed from your life. They are not there to help you in your spiritual walk, and they are not needed to do what I have called you to do. Do not fear their loss, for I have better things for you. I have greater more stable things to give you in their place. So sow them instead to the wind. Let them go with joy, knowing that these things have been a hindrance to you and needed to be removed. Stand still and watch the wind blow, but you will never need to fear it. For you are My child, and I hold you secure in My arms says the Lord.
