Sheriff: Two killed in Plant City shooting, suspect sought WFTS Webteam 4:32 PM, Jan 22, 2015 3 hours ago Sheriff: 2 people shot at Plant City bar and lounge Two people were killed in a shooting in Plant City late Thursday afternoon. Deputies were searching for a Hispanic male suspect, but at a news conference late Thursday, Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said he only had a vague description of the suspect and is waiting to give out more information. WATCH A REPLAY OF THE NEWS CONFERENCE ON VIDEO PLAYER ABOVE The call came in just after 4 p.m. Both victims were dead when officers arrived at Twilight Zone Lounge & Package Store at 3802 East Highway 60. Initial reports indicated the victims may have been shot nearby and ran to the bar for help. The search will continue for the suspect on foot while deputies believe hes in the area. Hes desperate and hes on foot, said Gee, who also urged anyone in the area to remain alert and to avoid the area at this time. Gee said the shooting incident appeared to be drug related.
