Sheriff greets and instructs our newest deputies entering the force: Sheriff Stan Sniff spent 2 hours Friday morning with our newest Correctional Deputies and their family members as a part of their formal Orientation Course, Friday, July 11th. The Sheriff outlines the missions of the Office of Sheriff, our expectations of our new employees, and the departments strategic direction. Many of the students today had just graduated and had their badges pinned the previous night as part of the 73rd Class graduation ceremony from the Ben Clark Training Center (July 10th). The formal 5-day orientation course for employees entering our workforce includes briefings / instruction on ethics, role of our chaplains and peer support, CLETS certification, tribal awareness, autism awareness, taser training among many other topics.
