Shes 91 but the other my mam said to me have you got a copy of the Ragged Trousered Philanthropist ? I told her I did. Also the tradition of passing it on when you have read it. But she couldnt keep this one as it was a gift for my retirement. But she could borrow it and take her time reading it. I had forgot that on the inside cover there were comments and best wishes. One caught Mams eye. It read something like this thanks Stan. When I met you I was down and just about out. You helped and encouraged and gave me back my dignity. Mam said EE well, just shows, you were a right little sod as a bairn. My favourite was bollocks, get the beers in. Hope mam enjoys, never too old for a good book.
