Where I Stood- Missy Higgins (this is one of my favorite songs for lyrical) Dizzy- The Goo Goo Dolls (jazzy-lyrical..listen to the whole song, major tempo change) Acoustic Number 3- The Goo Goo Dolls (kinda short, but its nice) Please Forgive Me- David Grey (really powerful lyrics) They Werent There- Missy Higgins Hero- Mariah Carey Slow Me Down- Emmy Rossum Rock Your Soul- Elisa (its lighter, but her voice is really powerful in some points) Dancing- Elisa (major vocal tone changes throughout the song, very powerful) Dreaming With A Broken Heart- John Mayer )kina light, but it has a deeper meaning) Wild Horses- Natasha Bedingfield (its kinda common, but its really cool to dance to) anything by Imogen Heap Fix You- Coldplay The Scientist- Coldplay Violet Hill- Coldplay (its a little more contemporary, but its cool) Lost?- Coldplay (It has great potential for insanely good musicality) Lost- Anouk A New Day Has Come- Celine Dion (really deep meaning, but its lighter sounding) Alone- Heart (really powerful towards middle and end) These Four Walls- Miley Cyrus Twilight- Vanessa Carlton (lighter) Heroes and Thieves- Vanessa Carlton (lighter) Uninvited- Alanis Moresette (this would be really good for a wow factor, BIG change in tempo) Hands- Jewel (lighter) Hollywood’s Not America- Ferras Loves Divine- Seal (I danced to this one year and it came out really well, it has a really deep meaning) These Days- Chantal Kreviazuk (its kinda depressing if you listen to it, but its moving) Black Roses Red- Alana Grace (same mood as These Days) Always There in You- The Valli Girls (same as the past two) The Special Two- Missy Higgins (my favorite lyrical dance was to these two songs, its lyrics are so easy to put emotion into while dancing) Black Balloon- Goo Goo Dolls (another song with an emotional story) Better Days- The Goo Goo Dolls (really powerful, but meaningful) Let Love in- The Goo Goo Dolls (ligher) Iris- The Goo Goo Dolls basically anything by the goo goo dolls Jewel has a lot of good songs A Million Miles Away- Rihanna Sober- Kelly Clarkson (really moving) Were in Love- Greg Raposo Unbelieveable-Kaci Brown Beautiful Disaster (live)-Kelly Clarkson (I did this another year and I got a lot of emotion into it, and it turned out really well) Its Gonna Be Love-Mandy Moore (kind of lighter, but its fun) Cry- Mandy Moore Always Be My Baby-Mariah Carey Butterfly-Mariah Carey Bolero- Moulin Rouge Soundtrack You and Me- Lifehouse Storm- Lifehouse Apologize- One Republic (not the Timbaland version) I Got You-Nikki Flores I Wanna Know You Like That- Nikki Flores This Girl- Nikki Flores I Dont Wanna Wait- Paula Cole Where Have All the Cowboys Gone- Paula Cole Whole Again- Play What Is love- Play Is It Love- Play To Live and To Die For- Play This is Me (acoustic, but the normal would be a good jazz)- Demi Lovato, from Camp Rock Stand- Rascal Flatts What Hurts The Most-Rascal Flatts Seasons of Love- Rent Soundtrack (probably a better group number) One Song Glory- Rent Soundtrack Without You- Rent Soundtrack Unfaithful- Rihanna (lighter, but it has meaning) For You I Will- Teddy Geiger (really cute) Im Still Here-Treasure Planet Soundtrack Dancing Dirth in the Snow- Missy Higgins Everything You Want- Vertical Horizon My Heart Will Go On Celine Dion If You Believe- Rachel Lampa Only Hope-Mandy Moore (kind of younger kid like, but if it was choreographed well it could be amazing) You- Switchfoot Butterfly Kisses- Bob Carlisle Jesus, Take the Wheel- Carrie Underwood (really emotional) Dont forget to remember me- Carrie Underwood (really emotional) Before He Cheats- Carrie Underwood (more jazzy) Everything You Said- Cori Yarckin Almost Lover- A Fine Frenzy (another one of my favorite lyrical songs) Lovely- Deep Side Ill Be- Edwin McCain Big Girls Don’t Cry- Fergie Cry- Rihanna Sarabeth- Rascall Flatts Dark Blue- Jacks Mannequin The Mixed Tape- Jacks Mannequin (a really, really powerful song.
