Shibir Secretary at Member-Candidate Conference in Bogra: Movement to safeguard Islam and the nation is the only way out- Secretary-General The Secretary-General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Atiqur Rahman said, “The Awami evil soul has been making conspiracies against Islam and the country in order to perpetuate its power. The countrymen are still with patience resisting such Awami version of sophisticated vicious acts. The Awami men in power are continuing their ill agenda giving no damn to people’s views. In such a horrible situation, the only way to salvation is all-out resistance movement against Awami evil vested quarters plotting against Islam and the country.” He said so today while delivering speech as the Chief Guest to the Member-Candidate Conference organized by Bogra Zone Shibir. The conference was chaired by the Bogra Town President Alauddin. The Shibir Central Education Secretary Mobarak Husen, the Central Social Welfare Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed, the Central Library Secretary Saidur Rahman Said and the Central Media Secretary Raihan Uddin etc were, among others, present at the conference as special guests. Shibir Secretary-General said, “There is nothing Awami League is not doing to hang on power. They have totally broken the overall economic order of the country by forcibly acceding to power of the country. Being in power, they are killing innocent civilians and looting people’s valuables. Murder, enforced disappearance, oppression, lodging of false cases etc are seriously prevalent in the country. Destroying national interests, the Awami illegitimate government has entered into pacts and agreements which go against good of the country. They took clear stand against Islam by patronizing atheism, killing Islamic theologians and passing anti-Islam laws in the parliament. More importantly, they are trying to uproot Islamic Movement from the land of this Bengal by killing top senior Jamaat leaders under a sham trial by a farcical tribunal rejected at home and abroad for falling short of international standards.
