Shimna M. with 84.40% has topped the SAHYADRI in the Semester VIII Information Science Engineering Examination of 2013-14 held by VTU. Bhavya Rao P. obtained the second position in the college with 80.67% while Nidhi S. S. with 77.60% stands third. Out of twenty-four students who sat for the examination, seventeen secured a first class with distinction and five students a second class, bringing the overall percentage score of the department to 91.70%.
