Shipping is the largest department at Voice of God Recordings. With 11 people, 350 thousand cubic feet of storage area, 55 international distribution hubs, and about 25, 20- and 40-foot containers carrying about a million pounds leaving our docks yearly, these brothers have their hands full. One special thing about their jobs is that every day is different. Those containers have been loaded with pickup trucks, new tires, generators, giant speakers, solar panels, office furniture, computers, fully-equipped sound studios, disaster relief supplies, Bibles, and of course, millions of pounds of sermon books and CDs. They never seem to be surprised, no matter what we want to put into one of those big steel containers. This time, it was shirts. Lots of them! Brother Joseph felt it on his heart to give the overseas employees polo-style shirts embroidered with the VGR logo. This helps as they greet visitors to the office, as well as greeting brothers and sisters on missionary trips. Like most things we do, every little project turns into a BIG project. Over the past few weeks, we have purchased and shipped 724 shirts and sent them to 181 employees in our foreign offices. God made us all different shapes and sizes, so each box is labeled with the employee’s name and size. The brothers in our shipping department sorted, folded, and packed every shirt. Who knows what that next shipment of boxes will be filled with and who knows where it is going to be shipped to? Even if it is not a Message book, the contents of those boxes are precious to us because we know that their final destination will be into the hands of the Bride of Christ.
