Ships Bell I have today got this reply from a reporter at the Larne Times. Do we have any evidence of the Bell story ? He seems happy to investigate but I can tell he is a little unsure of our claim John, After making a few enquires with Larne Borough Council and Larne Museum, no one seems to be aware of the bell ever being donated to the council. In fact, local historian Liam Kelly says he is confident that the bell was not given to the council. The museum is currently checking its archives so I might know more soon.
