Shocked and appalled at what happened in Ferguson, MO. His name was #MikeBrown, he was just 17, and he was shot multiple times by the police and left dead in the street for hours. His mother was not allowed to ID the body. He was unarmed. Officials dispatched officers with police dogs to control gathering crowds. Dont forget about this. Dont be complacent about this. Remember Mike Brown, remember Eric Garner and John Crawford. Black men of increasingly younger ages are subject to extreme policy violence, brutality, and murder. Dont act like these are isolated incidents. Reject damage control and demand answers. Demand accountability. Demand legislation to regulate police forces. Demand change.
