Shocking Reminder of White House Absurdity – Obama Says “Raising the Debt Ceiling Doesn’t Increase Debt” October 3, 2013 // By: Joe Calandra Jr. America’s current debt ceiling is 16.7 trillion dollars, according to today’s Washington Post. President Obama wants that cap even higher! The President says (and may even believe) that raising the Debt Ceiling will not increase American debt! ********** >>>>>>>>>> Here’s the spender in chief in his own words. As he’s taking, remember all the multi-billion dollar gifts he’s promised to African nations and all his expensive, taxpayer-funded international vacations: ) ) ) ) ) Here are the facts behind Obama’s word games. ~~~~~~~~~~ The debt ceiling is like a spending limit for a credit card. It’s a cap above which no more money can be charged. ~~~~~~~~~~ The only reason anyone would need a higher credit limit to pay off charges for items already purchased is because they can’t afford to pay up front. According to The Washington Post, “Oct. 17 is the last day that the Treasury Department estimates that the federal government is certain to have enough money to pay all its bills.” To make matters worse, “Investors have also been demanding higher interest rates for U.S. Treasury bills in recent days.” >>>>>>>>>> ********** In short, if Treasury is telling the truth; between Congress and Obama, every tax dollar from fiscal year 2013 will have been spent by Oct. 17 and investors don’t have much confidence in the strength of America’s economy. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The question is, if the amount of current debt can’t be paid without racking up more debt, why would Obama insist on Congress fully funding Obamacare which will cost citizens more money no one seems to have ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
