Short end of it...GODZILLA isnt without its flaws, but overall, I enjoyed it. It really evokes the spirit of those old Toho monster epics of my youth in ways I dont want to spoil here. Director Gareth Edwards has made a movie of grand scale and its clear he loves Steven Spielberg. Bryan Cranston packs quite the emotional wallop in the earlier portions of the flick. Aaron Taylor - Johnson cant quite carry the movie but who are we kidding? This is Godzillas show and he makes the most of a limited amount of screen time. The monster smack down in the final act is particularly awesome! A really fun movie but taper those expectations. :)
