Should YOU let the result of an exam as CAT / CA etc affect your confidence?? I have a story to tell you. In 90s my strongest career dream was to get into IIM-Ahmedabad. I could not make it through inspite of my best two attempts. I decided not to waste any more time sulking or preparing again. I decided to do what I would have done even after passing out from IIM-A i.e. Creating Events / Talks which solve problems in peoples lives. Since i did not have a pedigree; i put in 5 times the effort. I realized gradually that Qualifications do not always matter. Confidence Does ! Happy to SHARE that I will be addressing a packed IIM-Ahmedabad on Jan 18th during their AMAETHON 2015. My co-speakers:- Ms Minakshi Lekhi, Shehnaz Husaain. More Details at:- iimaamaethon/ Lesson Learnt:- Do not let your 20s & 30s go waste in stupid emotions. Emotions are so disposable. Whatever happens; happens for good. Take the lesson. Keep your damn focus right & cleverly work on a Back-door strategy. Work 5 times harder & then All will happen.
