Should you buy a HP Printer? Please decide after reading this. I called HP because I need something done with my printer. The process of calling different numbers (because the number you have to call for one type of printer/customer is different from another...) and then to press various numbers to speak to a human being took 15 minutes. Then I had to read my machines serial a part of which was not clear. They said that without that they could not do anything! Finally after several combinations and permutations we arrived at the correct serial number. Then I was told that my printer is out of warranty. So I said, I know that. Why did you not just ask me. I want to PAY and get things done. Okay, then you will haven to call our service centre. Why cant you call your service centre and ask them to send someone over. No, we cannot do that. OK, tell me the number of your service centre We have two service centres, one in Jasola and one is Rajouri Garden, which one is nearer to you? I think Rajouri Garden OK, here is the number, please call them... I call, the number is not in service. I call the landline, and the person whose name HP gave me has left the job. Then I speak to a human being and explain my problem (now for the third time). He asks me my address. I tell him. Oh, that needs to be fixed from Jasola. OK, I will call Jasola, please give that number. Called Jasola, and explained my problem for the FOURTH time. The above account has been shortened to save you torture. .....................................................................................I cannot torture you with every detail of the tortuous process and frustration that I have gone through. ONLY because I bought a HP printer. Finally, he called back....and asks me why I cannot get a hardware engineer locally and have it fixed..... I blew up....calmed down Then he tell told me he is sending me a quotation for the site visit.... One hour and fifteen minutes later I am still at it. Then I thought I might call AIRTEL and see if I can get someone to come over and fix the problem (it is a networking issue). Have been waiting for 10 minutes to speak to a human being with stupid mindless messages playing over and over again. For the last 15 minutes I am being told Your call is important to us, our customer service executive will be with you shortly. Have given up. Cant take it any more. Should you subscribe to Airtel?
