Should you take down your Christmas tree right after christmas day like most Americans do? America is traditionally a protestant country, they didnt even have church services for Christmas before 1930s...they decided to have Christmas church services due to the demands of their kids. Christmas seasons begins on Dec 25 and ends on the Ephiphany, aka 3 kings day, Jan 6, thats why they call it the 12th day of Christmas. Epiphany is the manifestation of Christ to Gentile through the 3 wise men,Matt 2-1-12. Some christian countries celebrate the Epiphany as festive as Christmas, they do their gift exchange on epiphany not on Christmas day. The Epiphany event is an important day for us non Jews Christians. Apostle Peter originally thought that Christ is only for the Jews, Paul argued,nonetheless, that Christ is for every race, including the Gentile... and the visit of the 3 kings who came from different corners of the earth affirmed that message. The tradition of gift giving did not come from santa claus but from the 3 kings who brought Jesus gifts of gold, myrrh and frankincense.
