Showing Welsh at APSB events I recently competed in the Welsh section at an APSB Show, with my pony shown a la natural as per Show Presentation in the Standard of Excellence for the Welsh Section of the APSB. Entered in the same class was a pony that looked great, but its presentation leaned towards a pony that would compete in the open Riding Pony classes, ie plaited, etc. How opposite we both looked. The point of this thread is that perhaps when appointing judges the Societies should also forward the judge a copy of the Standard of Excellence, to make them aware that the presentation requirements are quite different in these Native pony classes compared to showing in other breed and open classes.
