Showjumping Southland Tournament today. Left at 4am to head down to Gore. Ben Lott came as my stallion handler so thought Id better give him a turn to ride. I did two rounds first of Show Hunter (with a 3rd placing in one), but not many pics as I havent got Ben very well trained with the camera! Ben then did 90cm Show Hunter and 90cm Show Jumping. Ground conditions were very heavy for the Show Hunter and the bigger horses found the going tricky, but much improved on the all weather Show Jumping surface. Ballineen Blue Mountain was perfectly mannered all day, couldnt fault him! It was great to sit back and watch him going for once, so thanks Ben for giving Brian a great ride and I hope you enjoyed it :)
