Sunday 6th July Lydiate car show at Maghull nr the Scotch Piper pub.A very popular venue with a great collection of different vehicles.2 pounds entry fee per car which will go into various charitable areas via the Rotary Club GB. July 6-7th. Manchester airport aviation show at the visitors viewing area. Free to enter.Several members have expressed interest in attending this show, in order to arrive and park together can someone suggest a meeting place prior to reaching the venue? July 12-13th Daresbury steam show. This was an excellent show last year with a great variety of transport related attractions,Ian,Ron and I even ended up in the background of Car S.O.S.This show does NOT accept club entries so you must apply as individuals,free to enter. JULY 15TH TUESDAY EVENING FROM 7PM PENKETH CONSERVATIVE CLUB. THE JOHN WAYNE GREATBANKS CUP. THIS IS YOUR EVENING TO VOTE ON YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS CARS SO LETS GET AS MANY CARS THERE AS POSSIBLE. July 19-20th Speke hall retro and classic car show. Can you try and be on site for 10am please as we want to get the cars in place before the public enter the show area.Usual attractions on display,live music,market stalls etc.Free entry,contact me if you wish to enter. July 27th Frodsham car show at the community hall in Fluin Lane. A rotary club event.I have put a number of entries forward for the show.Free entry.
