Shrek of 2001 is better than the Kochadaiyan of 2014: Mr - TopicsExpress

Shrek of 2001 is better than the Kochadaiyan of 2014: Mr Amitabh Bachchan in his interview said that in the Centenary Year of Indian Cinema, people will talk about the era after Kochadiaiyan. The modern Camera brings the real facial / body expressions of the actor. It was boring to see lifeless eyes, wrinkle-less face, sweat-free body and disproportionate body size. To me all the character appeared lifeless with short Sarathkumar, glamour-less Deepika Padukone and imitated Nagesh. In the war-field, it is real fun to see the slim horses galloping and African-type elephants making lazy movements.I wonder how the fans of Rajanikanth could sit in the theaters for two hours - watching the movements of celluloid toys. Was this film aimed to attract the kids on the similar lines, Anbudan Rajanikhant (அன்புடன் ரஜனிகாந்த்) was made in the 80s? Or Is it an attempt to produce films of Rajinikhant, even after his retirement from acting in movies? May be Rajanikants daughter is trying to create a Disneyland-like character with Rajanikhant !!! The 40 cameras that has recorded his motion capturing did contribute nothing, as there is no majestic walk that was required for a Chieftain of an army. Among the software based cinematography, I would rate Shrek 1000 times better than Kochadaiyan. Mr Amithab Batchan statement is mear a psyphancy. Joe Basker / Rengaswamy Swaminathan / Rhea Bala
