Sick of election coverage? Need a distraction. Then look no further , because its time for PELICAN’S SPRING BREAK BONANZA FILM GIVEAWAY! That’s right, I’m giving out not one, not two, but THREE DOUBLE FILM PASSES. All you have to do is rock up on the night and shout your friend/partner a movie, making yourself look like a legend, and then compose a measly 200 words on what you saw, sometime later that week. I honestly can’t believe they have a preview for this, but if you’re up for laughing at a trainwreck (and the election has stopped being funny, HIYOOO) then this could be for you! Monday 9th September, Event Cinemas Innaloo, 6:30pm Next, for anybody who shops at Coles, we have ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US up for grabs. I don’t know anything about this film, aside from its obvious subject, and the fact it was directed by the guy who made Super Size Me… so yeah. Sunday 15th September, Reading Cinemas Belmont, 10:30am (Good hangover cure?) Finally, for those of you with more artistic credentials, LOVELACE staring Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard. I haven’t heard much about the actual quality of this film, but James Franco is involved with this project so that’s probably all you need to know.
