Sifting through some old emails now and just came across this awesome success story someone sent me after doing some session work. Put a smile on my face . . . :D Johnnie Ferro came as a referral from a friend of mine. Weve never met before. I asked him if he could sing on a song of mine and do that within a very short period of time. Meaning, getting the song, learning the melody and have it ready within a week or two for recording purposes. He agreed immediately to do it and at the studio we met for the first time. There we went over the interpretation of the song together for the first time and it was great how fast he adapted to make that happen. It took us no longer than a bit more of an hour and what was even more surprising was to find out that he also plays really good guitar. I only mentioned that on the original tracks it would be great to have some electric guitar and Johnnie offered to pitch in on that. He had some really great suggestions on how to make it sound even better and even added a solo to it which we initially hadnt even thought of. But now it really sounds awesome!
