Sigh. Im not grumpy this morning, just thinking. Facebook. Its easy to become dangerously close to being sucked into that mindset that facebook is your validation for everything. Would that Awesome day! have been just as awesome if you hadnt posted about it? How would people love Jesus if they didnt have those share to go to heaven keep scrolling and burn in hell things? (I HATE those). Would you love your country just as much and be oh so supportive of the troops if you didnt have all those patriotic posters to like? Would that sunset that you witnessed be just as beautiful if you hadnt posted a pic of it and got so many likes? Would you have the self confidence that you do if you didnt post a selfie and get all the girl, you are so pretty comments? Not really confidence if its only reflected from others. So many things. Im taking a step back from it all. I tend to be rather hermit like in my personal life and I dont need to use facebook as an outlet or substitute. Facebook is not a dating service, either. Dont ask me out on facebook. Im old fashioned. Im sure if its meant to be we will meet sometime in the canned goods aisle at walmart or the gas station or something.
