Sigh. Thanks to everyone that donated to help get the kids shoes today. We had a GREAT time. The were excited thar we went to Scheels opposed to where they usually go. With your help they were blessed with one pair of tennis shoes ( which they insisted on getting off the clearance rack) a pair of Nike slip ons, a pack pf new socks each, a hair cut and we treated them to dinner cause I was too tired to come home to cook. The barber offered to cut their hair for free once a month. ( he could tell they were getting their hair cut at home ) I have never seen anyone so appreciative and excited. Once I got them home (with a meal in hand for grandma at the boys request thats the only way they would have ate out with us) I was given the BEST peach cobbler I EVER had. Grandma told me this was the only way she could thank me for showing her boys the love of a mother. I was escorted to my car by the boys and given the most heartfelt thank you and loving hug. Thank God for putting them in my life and again thank all of you for helping me bless these young men.
