Sigh. The neighbor below us keeps writing emails to the complex complaining that we are too loud and stomping around. The first complaint was that we were being too loud at 10:30pm, and they beat on the walls as I walked thru the hall to the kitchen to set up my morning coffee. Then the other night, at 11:30, I went into the kitchen to pour a ginger-ale and they started beating on the walls again. Seriously? Me walking to the kitchen calls for repeatedly banging on walls? Aggressive much? It is so ridiculous that I am afraid to get out of bed at night to go to the bathroom for fear that they will become disturbed and report us again! Naturally, I pounded out my own email to the complex, because this is so stupid! We dont listen to music without headphones, we keep the TV so low that we use sub-titles to keep up, and we walk around barefoot. We rarely have guests, we dont throw parties, and we arent running power tools in the middle of the night! I asked my next door neighbor if he has EVER heard us, and he claimed that we are extremely quiet. Hell! We are computer nerds! Hello? Anyway, today we both got letters on our doors. They said that we now have to complain to the Courtesy Patrol or the Lakewood Police Department. Good! Hey! Stupid SOB downstairs ... Tell the LPD that I am awake and have the nerve to be getting something to drink! See how far that flies! If you dont want to live with normal apartment living noises go get a house! Jerk!
