Sights are for precision marksmanship at distance with time as a luxury. I cant recall the last time I looked for a sight picture in less than 7 yards. -Internet expert Well allow me to retort... Heres a video of a 3.94 second F.A.S.T. Drill I ran a few months ago from under a closed front cover garment. 6 distinct sight pictures. 6 hits. 3.94 seconds. Do not mistake your inability to shoot both quickly and precisely as proof that everyone else shares your lack of ability. Successful shooters use their sights to one degree or another. Confusing past success while utilizing piss poor TTPs as validation that youre doing it right is a recipe for disaster. Anyone that tells you otherwise is spewing bullshit to cover their own inabilities. I am a mid-level shooter. I feel confident in my ability to DESTROY anyone who says otherwise, on a timer, on video, while shooting at targets that mimic the size of the vital structures that we must put rounds in to, to reliably stop a violent attacker.
