Silke is not well. She has not been well for months now, horrible circulatory problem in her legs which caused tremendous pain, swelling and oozing. She battled this, best she could, with all of her desire to help. To be there for whichever animal needed her help. As of lately the pain was so excruciating that UNLIKE Silke, she spent time in bed, more than usual to relieve the swelling. The doctor could not be avoided. Yesterday her ultrasound showed a tumor 20cm by 10cm in her abdomen pressing upon her organs. The doctors believe this pressure was what caused the swelling in her legs. It must be immediately be removed. The only thing on her mind through all of this are her animals and how she will be able to feed them now that winter is upon us and the number of mouths to feed are many.
