Silver Leaf (Cama) has been my Go-To place since ever. And this is what is usually ordered : Masala Papad (its an OCD now) - 10/10 (yes, theres a rating for this as well, its very tough to get the masala papad right!) Hariyali Chicken tikka in Cheese Naan - 9/10 (they can replace the cabbage with onions, as a stuffing) Cheese Butter Masala - 20/10 (Must-Try) Bheja fry - 8/10 (one of the 3 places in the world where i eat organ-meat) Bhuna fry - 10/10 (u have to try it to know it!) Roomali Roti - Best in town. So my visit yesterday, i was craving for Chicken tikka masala from kbobs, its amazing! and some nice n crispy naan.. Quick plans were made and Boom. SL it was. Bhuna fry : A tava delicacy and brilliant flavors! including that of the semi-burnt, stuck gravy to the tava. The best part?! The softness of the meat! Oh my god! the taste and texture of Bhuna fry makes sure im blown away, each time i eat it! Must-try! --------This is the point where i have realized, it was a bad idea to start writing about SL on an empty stomach------------------------------------------- Chicken Tikka Masala : Well, SL is known for its signature gravies and Indian food as much as its known for the Cold Coffee and the Club sandwiches. The gravy here did not disappoint at all! infact it satiated the craving, just right.. What I did not really enjoy as much, is the chicken.. it seemed over-stored and really really hard. Cheese naan : This is a Star! Nowhere in ahmedabad have i had such a brilliantly cheese-stuffed naan (yes, call me gujju for the cheese-madness! 3:) ) It can be had just as is! Onion rings with lemon and salt, as important as the masala papad! Comfort food till 3am. Thtas just how blessed Ahmedabad is, with a place like Silver Leaf. If u havent been here yet, you need to!
