Sim Kann competing Balmoral Couger Pedy today at Fig Tree Pocket ODE. Couger Pedy was bred by Michelle Lang-McMahon at Kolora Lodge in Waterford, Brisbane, by Falchrich (Holsteiner) out of a tb mare. Sim imported BCP to New Zealand in 2011 as an unbroken 3 yo, along with Balmoral Oakey and Balmoral Fiddlesticks. All four are now back and settled on sunny Qld soil! Sim was heading out the door to America when I was newly-arrived in Qld--looking for agistment/lessons. She patiently took the time to give me some direction...and off she jetted to the USA, leaving behind her lovely property and thriving business. Now what, I thought...to be continued...
