Simon Hughes on Question time mentioned that Dwayne Brooks may apply for Stevess job??????? I suppose Lewisham will find it difficult to fill the boots of such a capable person as Steve Bullock but with all this media attention on the antics of the met over the Lawrence case, years of work in community relations with the different ethnic groups demands careful thought is given to who fills the post of Mayor. Being Mayor of a huge Borough like Lewisham demands that you have a working knowledge of all the departments involved in the job not just race relations. In my opinion that lets out Dwayne Brooks.
