Simon R Jnr Kaumi, your glorious sunrise pic from Matupit this morning reminds me of my most frustrating photo experience, same place. My younger sons and I were returning from a canoe trip to Tavurvur late apinun and saw fishermen racing to the nambis Matupit. It was a glorious scene as a boat full to the brim with fish was surrounded on the beach with mums and kids running here there and everywhere, loading buckets and things with flapping fish. My old film roll camera, I discovered as I aimed at the scene, had taken its last shot with all the magnificent Tavurvur scenery. That beachfull of fish and happy people would have been the best shot ever!
