Sin No more lest A WORST THING HAPPEN TO YOU ! Do you think Jesus was only pretending to be the friend of sinners while on earth? *[[Luk 7:34]] KJV* The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! You think Jesus will now reject those folks because of their wine and cigarettes and fornication? That will be serious hypocrisy on HIS PART if he dares to do that o *[[Luk 15:1-2]] KJV* %v 1% Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. %v 2% And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. You see . He was and is very convenient in their midst Hmmm mm Yet there is a sin that will bring worst consequence upon a sinner Lets search it out sharply *[[Joh 5:14]] KJV* Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. . That statement of CHRIST symbolises two things 1: A type of sin caused the initial issue 2: A type of sin will bring far worst type of evil to the man (what could be worst than 38 years sickness? ) Before you guess the sin Jesus was reproving him about, remember he was born lame So which sin must he have committed before birth that warrants the sickness in the first place Hmmm .simply it has to be inherited sin The sin he committed in and through his father (not immediate parents o) Which is this *[[Rom 5:12]] KJV* Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Without much theology... Jesus was saying here in John 5 that sickness is a product / result of spiritual death which we all inherited in Adam So thats the initial fault of the man Sin No more ! Which other sin ? Lets look at the initial conversation *[[Joh 5:6-8]] KJV* %v 6% When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? See his answer o %v 7% The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Wao Thats telling us that via ignorance The man refuses to acknowledge JESUS as Lord HE never replied like blind bartimus did No sense of Faith in his reply but Works He was complaining about how his works has been insufficient to help him out and neglecting the GRACE of God standing before him Yet JESUS HEALED HIM MERCY AT WORK! Which is actually a showcase of Gods love with a final intention of bringing man to repentance %v 8% Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. So he was healed without accepting Christ as Lord ( Just like those Hebrews 6 was saying TASTED OF THE GOOD WORD OF GOD! ) but never believed .. Then Jesus came back to him and said SIN no more less a Worst thing happen To u meaning you are born a sinner And sin brought sickness Now you are healed without accepting me as your Lord (SIN NO MORE ) BELIEVE in me lest you face eternal damnation See a similar scenario here o *[[Joh 9:1]] KJV* And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. Without any faith from the man Just out of the compassion of the Lord HE HEALED HIM *[[Joh 9:6]] KJV* When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, Ok *[[Joh 9:7]] KJV* And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam ........ He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. He didnt actually obey Jesus here because he was persuaded of his power .He just went and he SAW Infact see what he said of Jesus later *[[Joh 9:25]] KJV* He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. He was only concerned about the miracle... Meaning some people could be healed at our gospel outreaches Yet they remain a sinner BUT SEE what Jesus told him after . *[[Joh 9:35]] KJV* Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? Thats like preaching salvation to Him o After healing . See his reply . *[[Joh 9:36]] KJV* He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? *he never knew Christ *[[Joh 9:37-38]] KJV* %v 37% And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. %v 38% And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. Thats salvation at last Now a man that Has received such encounters (common to the Jews ) and yet refuses to believe in CHRIST After experiencing all the miracles, gifts of the spirit and signs and wonders , that remains adamant after enjoying all these blessings from God is the one that is doing insult to the spirit of GRACE All summing up to unbelief to the Gospel
