Sin is arrogance. Everything on this earth belongs to God. Therefore anything we bring to God as an offering of appreciation, already belongs to him.... So I began to question if there was a anything I could bring him of my own accord to show true appreciation. My first inclination was that i was being arrogant. The omnipotent has completely sovereignty over everything that encompasses the known universe correct? So what could I bring him of my own? Then it hit me, my will. God didnt give us his will. He gave us our own free will so it would stand to reason that the best gift I could bring as an offering would be my own will. This is true appreciation. Or is my thought process flawed? #thinkingoutloud
