Since April 2014, a growing team of volunteers—now standing at more than 40 members—has been working hard to migrate thubtenchodron.org to a new platform on WordPress, going through a 3-hour training course and exam, and devoting hours each week to creating and proofreading posts. With close to 30% of the site migrated to a new platform, were happy to announce the launch of the new thubtenchodron.org, with the remaining 70% of the material now archived at archive.thubtenchodron.org. Ven. Chodron shared a letter from volunteer coordinator Heather Duchsher on the date of the site launch on August 11, which coincided with the 11th anniversary of Ven. Chodrons first visit to the Sravasti Abbey property. We’re still looking for volunteers to help with migrating materials from the archive to the new thubtenchodron.org, especially people who are proficient in Spanish. We’ve designed a 3-hour online course that will familiarize you with WordPress and all the style conventions that we use for the website. No past WordPress experience necessary!
