Since I brought up Gus, whos been on my mind most of the day, Im curious as to what your pedigree dogs name was on their papers. Gus was AKC registered (which was a joke really..no fault of his) and his paper name was Donovans Golden August. I tried to get Donovans Dog Days of August, but you cant have the word dog in your name. I cant for the life of me remember what Brutus was on his registration; Id have to dig up his paperwork in my closet. Dottie was a no paper dog. Daphne was Donovans Duchess of the Lane...lol. Such a noble doggie. :) And my current Daisy is Somethin bout Miss Daisy. I love the fun of giving them that AKC name. I always try to incorporate as much of the parents/kennel name as I can, but still make them my own.
