Since I find what our community can do together to be amazing, I want to finally do something that I have been thinking about for a long time. I want to do a community benefit concert that will donate money to the travel/emergency assistance funds at each dialysis center where members of our community travel to for care. Because dialysis centers are not profitable, there are none in Siskiyou County and it is a serious problem for many people. My dream for the event, and now goal to actually do this, is to try and talk the CA rock group Tesla to visit our community and play. What do I ask from all of you? If you are still reading this, and could go for an evening of fantastic rock music in our community, please contact them via their website teslatheband/ with the words, “Siskiyou County Welcomes Telsa!” While it seems like a long-shot, why not try? Who wouldnt want to visit our beautiful county?
