Since I heard about Prime Farm to Table on FMC, I decided to swing by for lunch today. Wasnt sure what to expect, thought it would be similar to ModMarket with less of a chain feel to it, but found it to be much more upscale (hostess, wait-staff in black, Reidel stemware, nice silverware, dark wood abounds, nice wine list, etc). I ordered the Seared Scallops with a green curry sauce over rice with red and green peppers, and tomatoes. (This is a different scallop dish than what is listed on their website and I get the sense that their menu will change often). The scallops were seared perfectly and not overdone which is usually the case with scallops. The curry sauce was excellent with a nice coconut flavor and not overly spicy. The rice was spot on and the vegetables still had the right amount of firmness. With an ice tea it came to $20 - more than Id typically spend on lunch when Im by myself, but well worth the price. I would definitely do lunch with others or a business lunch here. This will definitely be where I take my wife on our next date night. Theyre still in the midst of their soft-open, but you couldnt tell based on the décor inside or the quality of their food. Only the outside dining area was incomplete. I was greeted warmly by one of the owners (I believe) and the wait-staff was attentive.
