Since I know Wendy , Blair & fam. are out there in MY place right now. I do hope they see this photo from my friend Matt. And are having a wonderful time! I am jealous! And Congratulations to those who had the foresight 150 years ago to preserve one of of Gods most amazing creations for posterity. You can see the sun peaking over Half Dome in the upper right of the photo. I have had the honor of standing on its summit twice. The first time was with a church group. The guide had a Martin backpackers guitar, and I had the amazing experience of using it to lead Sunday morning worship. And the cool thing? Even though there were only half a dozen of his in the group, about twice that many other folks who happened to be up there that morning came over and joined in. But when you are standing on top of Half Dome, looking down, around and up (yes, even up!) at the view that surrounds you, how can you NOT break out in song singing How Great Thou Art?
