Since I never got a response on other threads on 1 Corinthians - TopicsExpress

Since I never got a response on other threads on 1 Corinthians 9:17, Ill just make it a separate post. But I will predict instead of dealing with the verse head on, the Calvinists will dig through their scripted responses patterned after some ridiculous confession like a Jehovahs Witness running to a Studies From the Scriptures volume to see if theres a good response to objections to their doctrines. Here it is, Paul showing both what he could do with his free will, as well as something being AGAINST his will both in one verse: For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. 1 Corinthians 9:17 Lets add insult to injury and thrown in 2 Corinthians 8:12 about giving: For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not Lets add one more for fun. The pastor is the example for the church (1 Cor 11:1, 1 Peter 5:3), and the pastors example is of course, Christ (as he is to us all). Now how is the pastor supposed to lead the flock? AGAINST THEIR WILL? Nope, read it: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, NOT BY CONSTRAINT, but WILLINGLY, not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind 1 Peter 5:2
