Since I shared his story.. I wanted to give you an update on my friend. I emailed his mom this morning telling her I cant stop thinking about them… about him.. his wife.. their newborn, their 2 year old and her.. his mother who never once left his side. I wanted to offer to connect her to other places I did stories with that might help. She wrote--the ambulance ride was peaceful and pain free...he said glorious when they carried him into our home. The pain got much worse and they got it under control with morphine. Unfortunately, he went to be with the LORD this morning at 10:45 this morning. My heart is broken. I sit in my room crying. This shit never makes sense. He fought so hard. He looked so healthy for so many rounds we did together and until he went downhill. Its just not right. Please pray for this family. Pray for his mom, his wife, his kids who will grow up without him and others who are left hurting. Cancer is real. Cancer sucks.. and as Ive been told many make it while others get left behind. Those who do survive im told countless times you have survivors guilt but you know you carry the weight of those who fought and lost and you (I, we, ) fight for all of us. #ArmorUp my friends.. we - all cancer patients need you-- Love you for all the prayer and love you continue to send me.
