Since I started going back to college for computer science in 2010, the same year I was recovering from SIX breast surgeries (it was a bad year!!), I have avoided taking a basic intro to LinuxQuestions.org class required for me degree. I mean , really, can a 53yr old learn this stuff even if just to be a monkey with it? I never took a coding class in my life, as a nurse, but I can write a Linux Script now :) At the same time, I am cleaning out my house to sell, and see all of our old Linux books from the 90s we bought back then, and never read. Now I am taking my FIRST ever real live college Linux test :) after I started learning it for FREE on line at EDx in August . I need to go into the testing center at Anne Arundel Community College and take the test by Sunday. The politics behind the open source community inspire me. OVer the years, I have known very little about this but this video sums it up. Wish me luck to pass the test. I am not confident, but at least I am there to FINALLY do it, right? In a world where no one seems to work together anymore, listening to this youtube video gives me hope. #TEAM = together everyone achieves more? #Linux
