Since I started working in this yard we pay good rent for, I have unearthed so much flotsam and rubbish its not funny. Bits of cement sheet. A number of spoons. A number of matchbox cars. Plastic dinosaurs. Plastic fish. Porceline mugs. Bones. An Awning. Plastic tarps. Countless bits of metal and a quite attractive steel grate that was probably once a Barbecue grill. I have practically levelled a half cut down tree myself and poisoned the stump. Today I dug up a large plastic pond that was in the ground and full of rancid water. (Mind you it was a good snail trap.) This area will possibly become a productive veggie patch with I have levelled and de weeded and I intend to use what is to hand and around the place as much as possible to create something that has a little dignity... perhaps starting with a straw bale raised bed so it can be then dug in to the soil to mulch and fertilize...then, itll be knocked down and turned into units so someone can make a tidy profit.
