Since I will not be on the computer this weekend I am going to do day 9 today. While driving the tractor in the dark last night and navigating through a narrow opening time and time again I had a thought. I have a bucket on the front and blade on the back and I know how to do this without hitting anything because my father in law whom I am very thankful for taught me how. Ron Brown came to the ranch many years ago to help me. First he raised the bucket above the fence and then explained why it was best to have it up! He lowered the drag into the dirt and showed me where that handle was and drove away. That 1st day I drove the arena in granny gear for a few minuets and buy the end of the session I was plowing at high speed! At least 5 days a week for several years I ran that tractor and I feel very comfortable behind the wheel of one. I was able to teach others to drive the tractor to and not only is it fun but sometimes the loud rumble is the most peaceful thing in life. No telephones, no internet, no crying kids. Just the soothing rumble or a good Case, John deere, or Massy-furgeson! ;-)
