Since Im not drawing a new sketch today for INKtober and yesterday I got so many questions about my Night sky painting I decided to post the full view of my painting and answer some questions. Materials: Staedtler watercolors on Fabriano arches paper 300g watercolor paper I have already posted a video of the same painting technique but with acrylic paints and the technique I used here with watercolros is very similar to the one I did on my notebook cover... you can watch the video here youtube/watch?v=y_n0tqzlIg8&list=UUYANWCyoTH9PNMdvLveu_YQ On a side note I really dont recommend using the same watercolor brand Staedtler because as the painting dried the colors faded so much and I had to paint over some areas especially the darkest areas too many times and even with all that it still faded a bit especially at the bottom of the painting... so next time I will be using a different watercolor brand or maybe Ill just stick with acrylics because acrylic paints never fade when dry.
