Since Ive had Facebook, every September 11 Ive posted a Wall Street Journal column by Peggy Noonan, written several weeks after the attack, about the firemen who responded and lost their lives. Its the most powerful writing on the event Ive read to date. The Wall Street Journal will no longer allow it to be read online without a subscription, but I found it elsewhere. Its not long and its worth taking a few minutes to read.
