Since YouTube blocked it.. here it is...again. Here’s a little work in progress I’ve been toying with. Laid out the majority of the beat in Maschine as you can see I’m live sequencing it, this is how I like to get a feel for the song to see how it will layout before I drop the vocals into Ableton for the final mix. Some of this is on the fly, just seeing what patterns work well in the song. Currently at this point, this is probably the sequence I’m most happy with. There are a few layers missing from some of the patterns that I will add later to fill in some of the dead space. Also, this is a straight shot with the acapella, I will get more creative with the chops, maybe add a short break or maybe a loop out for a DJ Edit. #DJLife #StudioLife #ProducerLife #Ableton #Serato
