Since everyone else is doing it let me join in. I AM SO HARLEM I REMEMBER running through the water pump before they put sprinkler caps on them. I am so Harlem I remember chipping in for Colt $% Malt Liquor I am so Harlem I remember thinking living in the projects was more prestigious than living in the brownstones across the street. I am so Harlem I remember riding the back of the bus as if it was legal. I am so Harlem I remember sitting outside till 4 AM on a week day as if that was normal I am so Harlem I remember the soda of choice was not Pepsi or Coke. It was GRAPE! I am so Harlem I remember Pickles were the big thing to buy at the candy store. Heck I am so Harlem I remember Candy Stores I am so Harlem I remember buying a bag of potato chips with pickle juice poured inside. Oh I am so Harlem and love that I am!
